Since the first bottle rolled off the production line of Seychelles Breweries Ltd in June 1972, SeyBrew Lager has been the favourite beer of Seychelles. SeyBrew is brewed with the finest malt and hops imported from Europe, Australia and South Africa. SeyBrew is available in 280ml green glass bottles and draught at 4.9% alcohol by volume, which makes it just perfect for quenching your thirst in the warm sunny Seychelles. SeyBrew is an all occasion beer but exceptionally inviting at the end of a day's work. Bottles are available cold at all liquor-licensed stores, whereas Draught is limited to some selective but popular bars. SeyBrew was awarded a Gold Medal in Brussels in 1974 - just two years after its launch. It topped 500 competing beers to scoop that first international award early acclaim which was consolidated by winning a Silver Medal in Geneva in 1978 and a Gold Medal in Amsterdam in 1981.

Thanks Fred. Taste, nothing unique. But just a solid refreshing lager. That you could drink all day long at the beach! Nothing weird or disappointing.

Well I guess I have to tick this one. I’m here and it’s pretty much all there is to drink in most places. This particular one was my first. Enjoyed back in my apartment in Male just before leaving. It looks the usual. Clear gold, lively, white head. Aroma gets very boring very quick. Dull malts, cardboard. Damn this is a shock after drinking the beers from the new craft brewery here.

500ml can brought back from the Seychelles by Bethany. Drank at home on 19th December 2025, poured into an old Tuborg pint glass. Bright golden body, clean and clear, on top a fast fading white head. No real aroma, taste is corny, and slightly malty with a mild sweetness. Might be OK on a hot tropical island with grains of sand trickling through your toes, but it's not really an English winter sort of beer.

280ml bottle, thanks to Grumbo. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of grass, corn, grain & light malt. Moderate body. Sweet light bitter finish. Passably drinkable
