From a 12 oz. bottle.it is a cloudy effervescent orange goldish color with a thick white head. The aroma Is hay. The taste starts out thin then grows in intensity to some hop bitterness.

Tap at brewery. Very light malt aroma - just noticeable. Golden yellow color with small head. Smooth creamy malt and light bitter herbal hops flavor. Tasty but on the light side.

On tap at Shoreline Brewery, Michigan City. Translucent light amber body, thin off-white head. Light, floral nose with hints of citrus. Thin, perfumey body, with spicy hops, bready malt, and cakiness perhaps derived from the yeast. Tasted oxidized and stale, with no real bitterness and a rather lifeless palate. The distracting heavy, dull caramel characters I tasted in the porter became apparent in this beer too after several sips. I was 0-for-3 on my first visit to this brewery.
