Our "Breinheitsgebot" Märzen style lager is characterized by a medium body and a light copper color. Maltiness (light and toasty) is definitely the dominate flavor, but this beer finishes with a clean hop bitterness. The European/German hop varieties are subtly present in the flavor and, to a lesser extent, the aroma.

From December 2010 tasting notes. On tap at brewpub. Copper with a small white head and nice lacing. Hay, malt and sweet berry aroma. Flavor was dry hay, malt, hop finish. Medium body with a nice creamy mouth feel.

Tap at brewpub. Berry and barley malt aroma. Amber color with small head and nice lacing. Creamy barley malt flavor with a hint of berry and a mild dry grass finish. Excellent malt flavor. Fuller body than usual for the style.
