12oz bottle-had with stevo after a hike to a vortex in Sedona-pours a foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is light/medium malt-cereal/bread, some earthy/herbal hops, yeast. Taste is light/medium malt-cereal/bread, some earthy/herbal hops, yeast. Slight drying at finish.

Bottle . Red pour with lasting off white head. Rich aroma of caramel. Toasty flavor, whough with something slightly off putting in the finish. Still, more good than bad in this ale.

Loose bottle, $1.50 @ HyVee Storm Lake. "Best By 06/21/10." Oops. Well, I had a Bully! Porter that lagered just wonderfully in a fridge for two years, so here’s hoping: Pours a robust head in my glass, above a darkish red ale with tiny bits of grain or yeast sediment floating around. Smell is fine, a nice caramel roast malt that may or may not have subsided in strength, but did not go off. I’m sticking my thumb up for its taste, too. A robust kind of caramel malt again, just a little bit sticky Alcohol is probably a touch higher than the stated abv what with the secondary ferment; it certainly is noticeable here. I thought I caught a touch of unmalted wheat here, and sure enough, the label has it in the ingredients. Rough grain finish, but very entertaining. I’m much enjoying Boulevard’s regular beers, I just sometime to have access to some of their specialty beers.

Bottle. Medium amber body, clear. Frothy white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel, bread and toast. Hints of floral hops. A slight vingary note. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lighty sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly tart. Light to medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. OK, but the vinegar in the aroma and tartness in the finish seemed out of place.

Bottle. Pours copper with a small beige head. Roasted malt aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is slightly harsh roast malt with some fresh citric hop. Heads towards toffee. Tasty.

Bottle. Buttery caramel malt and grassy hops aroma. Copper color with small head. Milk caramel malt and moderate grassy hops flavor. Medium body. A nice beer - hoppy for an Irish ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet fruit malt with dough and smoke. Medium mouthfeel with a light toasty malt with caramel and a nice bitter finish. A very good Irish ale from Boulevard.

All my brews tonight courtesy of Soonah. Thanks! Bottle, Pours a slightly hazy brownish-red. Very faint aroma, an earthy maltiness. Thin head,. Tastes vegetal to me. Kind of like broccoli. Definitely not a fan of this one.

Bottle. Pour is a lovely copper/amber color with a two-finger tan head. Aromas are of bread dough maltiness with a bit of a piney character to the hops which makes it smell fresh and crisp. The resin-like hops doesn’t come through much in the flavor, and taste is dominated by malty bread and caramel. Still, it’s pretty decent.

Thank you ilovedarkbeer for this. Aroma is moderate English style hops with some toasted malts. Creamy off-white head. A medium honey brown color. Taste is very malty and quite watery, but still nice. Nothing to special. Watery mouthfeel with pleasent carbonation.
