Thank you ilovedarkbeer for this. Aroma is moderate English style hops with some toasted malts. Creamy off-white head. A medium honey brown color. Taste is very malty and quite watery, but still nice. Nothing to special. Watery mouthfeel with pleasent carbonation.

12 oz bottle from Royal in Kansas City, Missouri. Best by 04/12/10 stamped on the bottle. Pour is mostly clear copper amber with a thick full 2 inch light tan head. Aroma is mild biscuit caramel toasted malt along with a floral hoppiness. The two combine together for a sharpness, which makes it a bit abrasive. Taste is the sweetness of the nose, though now it’s equal parts caramel and fruit sweetness, followed by the floral hops and finishing with a nice mineral element. The meld and balance between malt and hops works better in the taste versus the nose. Palate is thin to medium, crisp and dry on the finish - real easy to drink. Overall, clean and well made for the style; a style which has never really excited me. (5,4,7,3,13 - 3.2)

Bottle. Pour is brown with just a touch of redness. Smallish head that faded fast. Aroma is real muted though I did get some hops and malt. Taste is nice, solid malt accented with hops and bitterness building in the middle with a nice solid bitter finish. Nice fullness to this as well. (5,4,7,4,13 - 3.3)

A dark slightly hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of fruit and hops combined with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, caramel, and light notes of alcohol, leading to a very dry bitter end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear orangey brown with a small, beige coloured head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malts and a discreet note of smoke. Sweetness and a dry hoppiness blends together perfectly to create a very harmonious brew. A lot closer to a Scottish Ale than to Kilkenny. Lovely. 250606

Pour is red with a small white head. Aroma is malty but nothing really stands out. Flavor is caramel and toffee with a touch of hops. Overall nothing to overpower but its better than Killians.

Bottled, thanks beerhandy! Nut brown. Aroma of cardamom & cinnamon. Roasty with light to medium body and soft mouthfeel. Below medium bitterness. A pleasant and well balanced very drinkable beer.

Thanks to mjames for sending this one! This Boulevard pours out a large off white head that slips into a dark amber beer. Mild malt aroma that is echoed in the flavor. Not a complex or heavily done beer, this is an easy drinking quaffable brew which doesn’t require any thought to enjoy.

Thanks to MOBoy for the trade. Pours a beautiful rich dark amber color with a medium beige head. Aroma is pleasantly toasty and malty. Full sweet malt flavor with a touch of hops and caramel. Finish is sweet. Not bad at all.
