Can at the flat in Varna - picked up from Teddy Beer. Pours clear yellow with a fluffy, pure white head. Effervescent. Lightly sweet, super drinkable, some bready biscuits, straw. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Nicely rounded finish, more lightly sweet biscuity character, low bitterness. Superb. Can’t imagine a helles being much better than this.

Bottle from The Curious Hop, Otley. Pours a slightly hazy yellow/straw colour with a thinnish white head. Light aromas of citrus fruits, floral, apples and grass. Taste is very similar to the aroma with more gentle notes of citrus, floral and grass. Medium bodied, smooth slightly oily mouthfeel, fruity, citrus and floral finish. Soft gentle and elegant flavoured beer. Very nice.

Can from 100 piv. Med-thin body, moderate carbonation. Quite clean, malt in the background, only light bready flavour. Moderate bitterness, very easy drinking, grassy herbal hops flavour. Really classic lager of a German style. Not great not terrible.

(Can) Light, yellow color, filtred with a white head. Aroma is very grainy, little oxidized, some dryed fruits. Tastes like the aroma with a sweet metallic exit.

Can from Trembling madness. A very clear golen yellow coloured pour with a big fluffy white white that disapates. Aroma is nice clean grains, cereal, honey monster cereal, light apple, crisp. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, simple base malts, cereal, biscuit, not much hops, litle apple note. Palate is well rounded, semi sweet, semi crisp, fine moderate carbonation. Good.

440 ml can. Cloudy golden, big bubbly foamy head. Floral hops, light orange, hay, straw, light citrus and grass, bready yeasty notes. Mild dry bitterness, light yeasty sweetness. Medium bodied, milky chalky texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry finish. Top quality unfiltered Helles.

Büchse (...again from Garching!!!): Hazy, very hell with a greenish sheen, stable small creamy and lacy white head, relatively dry herbal and grassy hoppy nose with more yeasty than malty spots underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF; slightly lingering soft herbal and yeasty finish. Can't see an extraordinary beer here...
