This is a BIG beer. An English style Barley Wine that has had truckloads of raspberries and a touch of vanilla added, then aged in bourbon barrels for 6 months. Fruity and smooth but with a sturdy malt backbone.

Reddish brown beer, lively head soon fizzes away to nothing. Fruity bourbon aroma, a dash of caramel. Taste has a sharp raspberry hit along with smooth bourbon, toffee, dried fruit, vanilla. Warm boozy aftertaste but without any burn. This is excellent as I've come to expect from Fierce

Can picked up at Fierce Bar Aberdeen. It pours cloudy dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich, oak, leather, toffee, touch of vanilla, millionaire's shortbread, biscuit, tangy raspberry, fruit cake, rhubarb & custard boiled sweets and raspberry jelly. The taste is dry, tangy raspberry upfront and throughout, red fruits, bramble, touch of cranberry, vinous almost, oak, boozy warmth, old leather sofa, tannin, gummy bears, wine gums, touch of chocolate even and some dull bourbon vibes with a tangy fruit finish. Fulsome body and fine, foamy carbonation. Fruity and dangerously. Don't go into this expecting a barley wine though! A fruity American strong perhaps or turbo fruit beer.
