Can. Nose is rich toffee, brown sugar, sweet malt, stewed apples, barley wineish. Taste is sweet malt, toffee, fruit cake, a bitter medicinal hop note and a slick finish.

Aus der Dose im 2025-02 getrunken. Etwas Karamell und etwas Schokolade zeigen sich hier in den Aromen dieses dunkelbrauen Bock.

0.33 l can from 'Beyond Beer', best before January 2026. Hazy, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of strawberry jam, molasses and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity taste of molasses, raisins, some chocolate and a touch of strawberry jam, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent.

Bottle at home. Pours copper with off white head. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, dried fruits, light boozy touch. Taste is toffee, dried fruits, bready malts, and a sweet boozy touch again. Long lasting sweet finish, light to medium body, soft to average carbonation.

Аромат неплохой, прямо в стиль, сладость от сахара, много карамели, намек на ликерные нотки, и грушу с корицей. Цвет желто темный, почти без пены. Во вкусе уже больше хмеля, потому что появляется горчинка сразу. Снова груша и карамельный сахар. При глотке горчинка легкая. Послевкусие с ноткой алкоголя. В целом неплохо, но еще далеко до Самиклауса.

Color marrón-granate oscuro, casi opaco, espuma beige amarillento cremosa de retención media-alta. Agradable y cálido aroma a malta tostada, caramelo, hierba seca, frutos negros maduros, pan de centeno, frutos secos (nueces)...
En boca mantiene alto el nivel recogido por su aroma y aspecto visual, un rico y untuoso fondo de malta tostada adornado con notas de caramelo y frutos secos dan soporte a una superficie y final amargo, herbal y terroso. Gran redondez, deliciosa cerveza. buenisima.

Half pint from the keg at Cuckoo Taproom, Exeter. Pours a deep brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of dark fruits, toffee, plum, caramel, wood & chocolate. Medium body. Somewhat dry finish. Highly enjoyable

June 2020: Shared 330 ml bottle, at the Yule beer tasting at Lilland Bryggerihotell, Tau. ABV is 8.0%. Dark brown colour, beige head. Pleasant aroma and flavour of malts, caramel, toffee, dark dried fruits (including prunes), hints of chocolate, some sweetness but not too much. Moderate hops. Debatable how naughty it is, but it sure is nice. Would buy again.

33cl can from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark red, cherry, with moderate, very fine cream foam. Aroma is malty, but rather moderate. Body and carbonation are average, with some stickiness. Taste is medium sweet. Final is average.
