chestnut to mahogany colour, huge, dense beige-ish head; aroma and taste of prune, dried cherry, burnt sugar/caramel, some toasted rye bready and roasted sunflower seeds notes; quite good one

Can at the strait and narrow. Deep caramel brown colour with a pale tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet malty and caramel. Some stone fruit. Smooth rich body.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet@AIH128). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, toasted tones as well as some earthy notes. Flavour is nutty, toasted, some slight alcohol and sweet malts to it. Somewhat dry wooden elements towards the finish.

Bottle at home. One year old. Has a deep reddish brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of dates, raisins, chocolate truffles, leather, rye bread and brown sugar. The flavour is similar but with more grass in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Sweet and filled with dried fruits, but is well balanced and pleasant.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Clear mahogay colour, small head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with almost full body and clean mouthfeel. Caramel and syrup, slight vegetable notes. Mildly warming finish with resinous bitterness. Very straightforward, in a more Imperial Caramelly Lager style than actual doppelbock.
