Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, dried fruit. Taste is malt loaf, cola, toffee. Clean finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown with amber to red chinks. Beige, big and creamy head. Nose - malt loaf and edge of dates and toffee. Taste - toffee, syrup, dates and malt loaf. Palate - medium bodied, a bit boozy. Overall - quite enjoyed this.

Dark amber with off white head - Malt aorma with some caramel - Malt body with caramel flavours and some roasted notes and some hop bitterness - The malt and hop flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

330ml bottle. Cloudy, minimally redd-ish, dark brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nutty and caramel malty aroma, slightly fruity and minimally yeasty, spicy overtones, hints of caramel, a touch of nougat and cherry, dried fruit, whiffs of plum and marmite. Taste is minimally chocolately, caramel malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, hints of plum, dried fruit, whiffs of marmite, minimally nutty overtones, chestnut. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Not really malt dominated, quite yeasty - so-so.

Creamy off white on a mahogany coloured body. Malt, sugar & vinous aroma. Full bodied, smooth, soft & clean on the back. Raisin, malt, berries & treacle tastes with a big boozy finish. Good stuff.
