Bottle, 650 ml, shared with others. Black with beige head. Lots of chocolate, some coffee, cocoa, thick and dense, quite sweet, bourbon, bit nutty. Medium to full bodied.

Hardly any head. Strong aroma and flavour of chocolate; sweet, thick, hot; true liquid chocolate; marzipan and coconut; there's a bit of liquorice that could be a sign of age.

Black colour. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Full bodied, very sweet, thick; dark chocolate, with almonds, roasted nuts, traces of coffee, and warming alcohol. It's extremely rich, wonderful.

22oz (thx, Brian S.!) @ on Alouette campground in Golden Ears shared with Alex. Appearance: pours like on oil, dark muddy brown withno head. Aroma: bourbon, somewhat sweet berries, nuts, chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet, a bit boozy. Overall: very nice and pleasant digestive.

On tap at Modern Times - Encinitas, pours black, no head. Aroma brings out molasses, burnt sugar, bourbon barrels, gentle almonds, and cocoa. Flavour is ridiculously complex, with bourbon barrels galore, almonds, burnt sugars and cocoa. Beautiful blend of bourbon barrels and almond especially. Lovely.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate pecans are very present bourbon barrel notes and a nice vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate vanilla roasted toasted pecans and barrel notes.
