Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, gingerbread spice, pralines and light alcohol notes, light sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty spicy and chocolate bitter sweet finish. Good.

Bottled 330ml (from brewery shop) Dark brown colour, small beige head. Aroma has gingerbread domination, then toastyness and hints of licorice. Medium-bodied. Toasted malts, gingerbread - allspice, clove, ginger and nutmeg - licorice in the flavour. Pretty active carbonation. Not the typical Baltic Porter, style should be @RB more like flavoured.

10/8/2020. Bottle from Two Brews, Colchester. Pours close to black, with a deep ruby tint, and minimal head. Aroma of dark chocolate, gingerbread, biscuit, caramel, light roasting, touch of herb. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slick texture. Warming finish. Enjoyed it, though it took a little while to appreciate this one.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby/brown pour, almost black. Thin soapy off-white layer on top, short lasting. No lacing on the glass. Interesting nose, herbal and spicy, strong ginger notes. Medium body, lively carbonation. Soft mouthfeel, chewy texture. Spicy bittersweet taste. Interesting aroma, ginger, spices, roasted malt. Hints of cinnamon. Gingerbread. Mild coffee and chocolate notes in the background. Molasses, caramel. Some fruity touches, nicely balanced. Long lasting finish, lingering spiciness with subtle coffee notes. Interesting and quite solid. Good one.

ABV: 7.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, ginger, gingerbread. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, ginger, gingerbread, dark malt, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light warming - peppery. [20200124]

Bottle. Black body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of dark malt and gingerbread, cinnamon, ginger and clove. Taste is smooth, sweet dark malt with lots of spices like found in aroma. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. A nice, god balanced, spicy porter.
