Surprise, they brought the maple edition! And you can tell, loads of maple in smell and taste. Thick, sweet and rich. Very smooth, easy drinking to get a lot of enjoyment. Could be more complex, I guess, but why would you?

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of cocoa, coffee, hazelnut, maple and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, rather roasty taste of nougat, coffee, licorice, maple and vanilla, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Borefts 2018 day 1. Black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted honey and maple dipped burnt marshmallows. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Borefts. Black with light brown head. Chocolate, maple, roast, vanilla, thick sweet caramel malts, light coffee, cookies. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied.
