SA Gold is a full-flavoured, hoppy and refreshing golden ale. Careful use of hops creates a satisfying bitterness, perfectly balanced by vibrant citrus aromas and complex hop flavours from late-hopping using Cascade and Styrian Goldings. A deliciously satisfying and refreshing pint!

Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. Golden with a small white head. Fruity and grassy aroma. Sweet fruity flavour with light, bready malt notes.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, acrid bitter, hoppy, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120623]

Bottle 500ml @ fonefan
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, herbs and grassy hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with an average herbs spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is bisctuity malty, with resiny, citrusy hops and some toffee-like hints. It’s a bit heavy on the carbonation, dry and medium bodied, with flavors of bitterness, biscuity malts and citrus peel. Rather bitter finish. A beer that doesn’t impress me in any way, but it’s sure drinkable. 120623

Bottle, 4.7%. Clear deep golden/amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, hops, little bread and a little vegetable. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, hops, little bread, little citrus and medium bitter.
