Black Sheep Ale: The One and Only

The product of 200 years of brewing experience and a family rebellion, brewed to challenge convention. Born iconic: proper beer, done properly.

The embodiment of Black Sheep: quality ingredients brewed in a unique way – distinct flavour characteristics come from our now-rare Yorkshire Square fermenting vessels. Malt character leads with sweet biscuit and caramel, complementing fruity raisin and pear drop notes from our house yeast. Goldings hops finish off the fruitcake-like flavours with hints of earthy bitter orange. Complex, balanced and incredibly drinkable.

50cl bottle from a shop Bugibba. Brownish color, clear creamy offwhite head. Smell of wet cereals. Aroma of weak malts, light roasted, earth. Light bitter taste, quite flat with some caramel. Weird.

500ml bottle. Pours a rusty brown with little head. Starts with a big kick of maltiness and funky hops with a yeasty note leading to a long clean bitter finish.
