The embodiment of Black Sheep: quality ingredients brewed in a unique way – distinct flavour characteristics come from our now-rare Yorkshire Square fermenting vessels. Malt character leads with sweet biscuit and caramel, complementing fruity raisin and pear drop notes from our house yeast. Goldings hops finish off the fruitcake-like flavours with hints of earthy bitter orange. Complex, balanced and incredibly drinkable.

500ml bottle. Clear dark orange/amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is malty, slight hint of roasting, some hoppy bitterness. Nothing special just an average bitter in my opinion.

Bottle from the local offie, bought for my dad to drink on Christmas Day, but we ended up on wine all day. Anyhow, it’s oddly, slightly hazy amber. Film of cream coloured head. Nose has fruity, nutty, toffee malts. Some floral and vinous notes. Taste is moderately bitter with a tickle of sweetness. Smooth palate. Soft bitter finish that gets vinous dry toward the end. Always had a soft spot for Black Sheep beers, and this is a pretty decent bottled version of the cask beer.

Copper colored, medium off white to beige head. Aroma is malt, biscuit, some floral grassy hops. Taste is low to medium sweet caramalt, biscuit, bit toffee, light fruity and citrus notes, low to medium floral and grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation.

Cobriza de apenas espuma que deja película. aroma malteado, fruto seco. Sigue a la boca, en una cerveza muy bebible y agradable. Predominio malteado y tostado, con notas de frutos secos, pero carácter seco con contrapunto amargo.
