A full-bodied stout with a velvety mouthfeel. Bursting with aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. A hint of smokiness. Our Milk Stout combines a 250-year commitment to brewing dark beers with a determination to never stop innovating.
Marrying the deep roast characteristics of Guinness Draught with lactose sugar results in a unique stout with a subtle sweetness. Slight hints of caramel toffee are balanced by a subtle bitterness. Distinctly complex and best enjoyed in the company of an old friend.

Bottle: Literally black, small persistent tanned foamy layer, sweetish-bitter chocolatey nose with traces of toasted malt and a mineralic background; moderate to solid sweetish-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied, but at least quite soft, very light acidity; lingering bitter-sweet chocolatey and toasty finish. A pleasant night-cap...

Mostly just like a Guinness with a cup of cream poured in. Pours black with good mocha head and lacing, as you'd expect. Bittersweet end. Bottle at the Gravity bar in Dublin.

Bottle at home, 09/09/18. Black with a decent tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is mellow roast, chocolate, dried fruits, light spice, charr. Taste comprises dried fruits, cocoa sprinkle, lactic pinch, faint ashen tones, toffee, roast malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.
