A crazy marriage of six different malts delivers a wonderful, complex, robust porter with hints of coffee and chocolate.

Cask in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 28th Feb 2016. Black with a tanned head, roasted malts monopolise this brew with mild coffee and slight chocolate notes in taste and nose. Decent.

Cask at Craft Beer Shop, Little Chalfont, Bucks. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, malty, chocolate, hint of coffe in there with a slight bitterness. It’s fine but not mind blowing.
