Bottle from vandeStreek. Aroma is strong whisky with caramel, wood, alcohol, roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee, touch of liquorice. More dominant whisky throughout the aroma, light peaty/smoky. Flavour is moderate sweet with some roasty bitterness and a sharp boozy sting. Body is above medium. Potent, even abrasive boozy whisky, neither subtle nor balanced.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey, licorice and wood. Pours almost black color with thin quickly diminishing light brown head and fair lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, whiskey and dried fruity acidity, follows by chocolate, ash and licorice, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. If only could last for 32 hours…

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is warm en krachtig bitterzoet met iets van rook, whiskey, wat koffie en geroosterd brood, echter de whiskey is overduidelijk aanwezig.
Prijs was ok, verjaardagsbier RJ 🎉

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online in the vandeStreek webshop. Pitch black with a small beige head. Scotch aroma combined with the usual roasted malt flavors of a stout. Sweet taste with a boozy finish. Bit thin bodied for an imperial stout. Decent.

Bottle. Black. Soft roast, caramel, whisky, soft vinous notes in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, vinous, dried fruit, soft roast, whisky. Nice, well balanced brew.
Boozy. Met een barrel heb je nog geen klapper.

Valt nog mee qua whisky, maar het blijft iets teveel spiritus op hout

Draft at gist. Aroma of fruity whisky, chocolate, oak, booze, red fruit and cherry. Taste has rich fruity whisky, red fruit, cherry, chocolate, oak, caramel, subtle vanilla and a long rich finish. Very good.
