(Previous labeled Peach Lambic). We first began experimenting with Belgian-style ales in 2006, and fresh, whole peaches were selected as one of the first fruits to add to the sour beer that we had fermented for over eight months in white oak barrels. We use 7,000 pounds of fresh Indiana peaches from Huber’s Orchard and Winery in Starlight, Indiana, destoning the peach pits by hand before adding to the barrels. Peach is a fruited ale with gold and straw colors that shine upon pouring, and zesty amounts of carbonation. Fresh peach aromas meld with floral and wine-like notes. Wonderful peach flavors follow in the taste, accompanied by refreshing tartness with a dry finish and mouth-watering tanginess.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours hazy orange with no head. Tangy aroma, some sweat, apricot, peach, tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavor with juicy tangerine, zesty citrus, some salty sweat, mellow acetic burn. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Tart finish, a little spicy, with more tangy citrus, salty bite. Good beer, but the condition is a little low.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, ripe, sour peach, apricot skin, funk, dirt, must, lactic tang and earth. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, sherbet, vanilla, toasted coconut, good mouth - pucker, peach, apricot and candy with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice.

Bottle at Level 42, from a trade with the Bald Wizzard - cheers Joe, 09/06/16. Murky orange with a moderate off white swirl that soon collapses. Nose is mellow peach, light smoked straw, light wood must, funk, shades of vanilla. Taste comprises more mellow peach, soft fleshy fruits, light mango pulp, tangy citrics, light funk. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light acidic bite and gentle puckering in the close. Decent peach affair but no great.

Bottle courtesy of Milsem. Pours hazy yellow with a small frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and tiny funky with crackers, lemon juice, plums, canned peaches, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is heavy sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, heavy tart, mouth-puckering and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, peaches, apricots, sour apples, hay, dry soil, barnyard and lemon zest. Very heavy on the peaches and apricots which is nice but this is just too damn sour. --- Beer merged from original tick of Peach on 26 Mar 2020 at 17:06

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle, 2/3/2015 batch A15 poured into a snifter. Aroma is nice peach, medium body, low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is really nice tart peach. Back to back with farm to face, prefer this. This is fantastic. Five years is past prime for me.

*Old rating. Bottled 10/12/10. Many thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing! The beer starts sourish and fruity. Nice peach there, hints of sourness. Fresh but not too deep or sourish. Great fresh and sourish aftertaste, but far away from its Belgium originals.

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Funky peach and petroleum. Hazy gold with a small head. Acidic, throat tightening dry and peach in the finish. A bit candy like in the finish. Very tart and acidic.
