(Previous labeled Peach Lambic). We first began experimenting with Belgian-style ales in 2006, and fresh, whole peaches were selected as one of the first fruits to add to the sour beer that we had fermented for over eight months in white oak barrels. We use 7,000 pounds of fresh Indiana peaches from Huber’s Orchard and Winery in Starlight, Indiana, destoning the peach pits by hand before adding to the barrels. Peach is a fruited ale with gold and straw colors that shine upon pouring, and zesty amounts of carbonation. Fresh peach aromas meld with floral and wine-like notes. Wonderful peach flavors follow in the taste, accompanied by refreshing tartness with a dry finish and mouth-watering tanginess.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Upland, 2/22/15
Aroma: The nose is fruity and funky, peach, sweet and sour notes, and a little oak
Appearance: It pours a murky, bright orange color with a small, fizzy head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes similarly, a little sweet, some oak, with a nice funky and tart and sour flavor mix
Palate: The mouthfeel is fairly lively, with a tart feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice fruity lambic. Lots of solid flavor. We brought it to a BYOB brunch this morning, it made for an excellent (much more enjoyable) substitute for the standard mimosa.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is like a real lambic, with loads of peach and funk - very complex on the nose. Flavour brings out huge notes of acidic peach, moderate funk, and immense sourness. The most lambic-like of the three Uplands I've had tonight (Kiwi, Persimmon and Peach). Finishes fairly acetic, very fruity, and quite funky. Excellent beer.

2013 Vintage 750 w/ 5 friends
A - hazy light yellow appearance. no head (typical with upland beers)
S - Smells like incredibly acidic peach and kiwi juice
T - ....just a guess, this is gonna have the mouthfeel of 7up and taste like vinegar. Let’s see! YEP! jesus OMFG I hate these beers so much! why do they do this? Stop making warhead sour candies into my freaking beer.
M - dry and thin
O - Let’s just get this straight. You are in Indiana brewing "lambic" and you decide to make a super acidic, balsamic vinegar oaky warhead candy sour beer and then add peaches to it? gross. stop doing this Upland. I’ve had like 8 of your "Lambics" so far. they’re all terrible. Just stop.

Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours a cloudu orange with small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong peach, funk, oak. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart peach, light funk, and very nice sour finish. Easy to drink, very impressive.

Bottle, peach tasting. Pours cloudy peach, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is very bretty, peach, lemon. Flavor is concentrated lemon juice, Brett, funk, fruit. Little sweetness, light funk, quite sour. Medium body. Re rate with a new batch, less head, minimal lacing. Aroma for this batch is HUGE peach, skins and stems and pits. This one is still damn sour, but less funky and far more fruity. Hella good.

Bottle. Sour fruity lactic aroma and funky Belgian yeast aroma. Cloudy honey gold with a large, quickly dissipating head. Tart lactic peach aroma, funky musty flavor. Very smooth, and the tartness level is perfect.. not mind numbingly mouth puckering... just pleasantly sour with just a slight bit of sweetness. Medium body, lively carbonation.

Pour, both from top and from bottom of bottle - sampled with two other upland lambics - compared to the others, this turned out to be the most balanced - moderate acidity - moderate funkiness - peach is earthy, whole fruit goodness - simultaneously sweet and funky/earthy - whole fruit, pits and all - finish is light acid - dull yeastiness is a pitfall, but otherwise actually pretty good.
