(Previous labeled Peach Lambic). We first began experimenting with Belgian-style ales in 2006, and fresh, whole peaches were selected as one of the first fruits to add to the sour beer that we had fermented for over eight months in white oak barrels. We use 7,000 pounds of fresh Indiana peaches from Huber’s Orchard and Winery in Starlight, Indiana, destoning the peach pits by hand before adding to the barrels. Peach is a fruited ale with gold and straw colors that shine upon pouring, and zesty amounts of carbonation. Fresh peach aromas meld with floral and wine-like notes. Wonderful peach flavors follow in the taste, accompanied by refreshing tartness with a dry finish and mouth-watering tanginess.

Bottle @ Matt’s house. Somewhat hazy, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Richly tangy lemon citrusy, stone fruity, apricot/ rich peachy, a bit woody aroma. Pretty rich peachy, chalky, fairly mineralic, quite sour flavor. Tastes like My Little Ponies. The scented one to be exact. Overly sour like most of theirs.

Etwas langweilig. /9/8/8/12/8

enjoyed during 2011 RBWG pours light yellow to gold with a medium white head. Aroma is tart apple skins, peach, acidic notes of vinegar. Flavor is tart as hell loads of tart lemon and bitter peach skins with lingering sweet peach and apricot in the finish. Refreshing.

Bottle marked 42-09 (10/12/10) via a trade. Pours with a hazed golden body and a white head that slowly fades to nothing. Aromas of fennel, brett, vanilla, oak, dried stone fruit, peach, acidity, and a spice (maybe even rosemary) note. Flavors are fruity with a very nice funk. Pineapple, vanilla (oak), peach, lightly grassy. Lively, nice acidity, peppery. Really well balanced. Dry, tannic, peachy. Very good acidity. Really well done.

750ml bottle pours a nearly opaque, burnt gold with some thin white head. Nose is grassy, light cheese, band aid, funk, light honey. Flavor is sweet, peaches, nectarines, light lemon, grass. Medium bodied, sweet and tart finish. Well balanced. The peaches really compliment the lambic base well.

750ml 2008 Vintage Bottle thanks to JohnGalt1. Pours out golden yellow/orange topped with a ring of a head. Aroma was sweet peach, light citrus, oak, and some vanilla. Taste was more of the peach leading the way, a little tartness, light oak and vanilla. I am always happy to try another one of Uplands Lambics.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy gold with a slight pink hue and a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma had a nice tart peach note with some sweet peach and a slight sweet cereal note. Flavor began with sweet peach, but a nice tartness grew to really round out the beer.

I am really happy I held onto this batch 2 bottle, originally these were uncarbonated, apparently. This was plenty carbonated. The beer has a nice light peach, not artificial, and wild/tart character to it. Fruit is reals but light, mixed with general airy-wildness. Well carbonated/
