Sample at the Ft. Wayne brewpub. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing. Roast malt, caramel and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, sweet caramel and mild fruity hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at brewery. Caramel malt and orange hops aroma. Clear copper with a minimal beige head. Sweet caramel malt, resinous orange and herbal hops flavor. Medium sticky body. Really nice, great malt/hop balance.

Tap. Caramel malt and pine hops aroma. Reddish amber color with small head. Light caramel malt flavor nicely blended with pine hops. The hoppiest irish ale I’ve ever had - very nice beer.

draft - Pours reddish brown with a medium sized head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is light and mostly of hops. The flavor is very hoppy, almost an IPA hop profile with a mild flavor of the roast malts characteristic of a red. The carbonation is light and the mouthfeel moderate. The finish is mostly of hops. I liked it. This is a nice session beer and one of MA’s better brews.
