We know of no beer made with finer ingredients than Sterling. We use choice mountain grown hops. Select 6-row barley. And filter pure water to brew this premium beer. These select grains and hops together with our natural ageing make Sterling the finest beer obtainable at any price.... Sterling. Pure Sterling.

Saw this in a gas station cheaper than any other 6 pack they had there so I had to get it. Its on par with PBR or stag. Yellow, fizzy and corny. It is what it is and it is cheap.

Can. This beer originally was widely available in the Indiana/Kentucky area. I remember as a kid collecting the cans because they had Kentucky Derby winner printed on the back - was the first beer I ever tried (at age 9) - could only stand one sip. Bought some just for the nostalgic appeal - Okay - comparable to Old Mil or PBR - a working man’s beer - Corn/barley malt aroma, pale yellow with small head. Light corn/barley malt flavor with hint of hops. Not better or worse than any other BMC pale lager. Interesting to try just to understand what our fathers/grandfathers drank - the poor bastards.
