Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to Juan again, 13/12/23. Light berry red topped with a crimson cap. Nose is cherry skins, funk, herb, damp straw, red berry tang. Taste comprises cherry stone, funk, herb, hedgerow, grains, light acidic bimble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow acidic rise. Decent.

Sample courtesy of Cheeseboard, cheers Simon! Deep reddish-orange amber-brown colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of cherry, fruits, acetic, citric rind, funk. Taste is sour, cherry, wood, vanilla, berry fruity, funky, tart, citrus zest, acidic, with some light bitterness. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying soured fruit finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Junction - cheers! Pours unclear ruby-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with sturdy acidity, berries, salty sweat. Light bodied with average carbonation. Tart and quenching to finish, more tart berries, some toasted wood, decent acidity. Not bad.

Craft Beer Junction. Xmas bottleshare. Hazy pinky cherry beer, decent pale pinky apricot colour head. Light and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Tart fruits over a thin malt base. Tart limey gueze. Light dry finish. Fine.

Pours a unclear, dark redpurple. Small ring of white head. Scent is mild, tad cherries. Taste is full, sour cherries, mild oak, higher acidity. Dry, medium carbo and body. Bit unbalanced, but not bad.

Bottle. Nice clear purple-reddish color with white head. Aroma is almonds, cherry skin, also some sweet cherry character, wood, tobacco. Taste is interesting cherry character, amarena style, but also some tobacco and wood. Rhubarb? If it's there it really blends in well. Not puckering, bone dry. Good!

0,75l from bottle shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Bottles 02/2019. Brown color, small white head. Smells wood, marzipan, cherry jam, nutty, very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes lactic, marzipan, cherry notes, wood, bit nutty. Finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of marzipan, lactic and cherry notes. Nice one, bit on the sour side, but nice one 8,4,7,3,16

750 ml bottle from MBC, bottled 02/19. Dark red body, with a small, slightly pink head. Aroma of sweet-sour cherries, almond, wood, some apple, some dark berries. Tastes similar, with some vanilla. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, quite dry, moderate sour, a bit sweet, wooden, with almond, cherries, berries, apple skin. Very nice. Lots of cherries, while really diverse, with other fruit notes, wood and a lovely almond impression. Drinks smooth and balanced, maybe lacks the last bit of complexity. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16
