16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/13/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, tomato, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, habanero peppers, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of tomato, lime, sea salt, peppers, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy lemon, lime, tomato, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, habanero peppers, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, and pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy lemon, lime, tomato, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, habanero peppers, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of tomato, lime, sea salt, peppers, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tart/tangy/spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/sticky/saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 4.6%. Lightly increasing pepper heat after the finish through the glass, but not overwhelming. Overall this is a fantastic fruit/vegetable/spiced gose. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of tomato, lime, sea salt, peppers, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/spicy/drying finish. Not overly lactic, spicy, or saline. Perfectly balanced juicy tomato, lime, salt, peppers, and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy/spicy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on experimental style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
