Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of malt that seems like it came from Germany. American malt tends to miss the baked/toast aspect. It's fairly dry and moderately bitter. Hops seem floral with perhaps a touch of Nobility. Surprisingly to me this beer's malt gives me much more pleasure than its hops. Decent for the style.

16 oz can from Craft Brewers. Deep golden color with a nice thick foamy cap. Musty, malty, grainy aroma. Taste is normal for the style, grainy. Full mouthfeel, minor mouth coating.

22 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, bottled on 9/3/2019. Pours crystal clear deep golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of honey, white bread dough, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of caramel, nuttiness, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big honey, white bread dough, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of caramel, nuttiness, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, caramel, nuttiness, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious oktoberfest. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Great clean Vienna/Munich malt showcase, with great noble hop presence/balance for the style. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.

Draft pour pint at The Collective. A clean and clear, shiny copper golden pour. Attractive beer that has the look that it won't last long. Malt heavy aroma that is both sweet and spiced, but mild in each. Flavor fails to be sweet, which is nice. A light bready malt. Cool, clean, and refreshing lager. I remember trying this in the past, and having it leave no positive impression. This year, it seems like they figured it out. A beer worthy of the full liter glass. Nicely done.
