On draught at Brewdog during Annual General Mayhem on 08/24/2019. Clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart grapefruit, salty wheat and bready malt. The finish is tart with a salty grapefruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Grapefruit juice from calif? WTF? I no want juice from calif. Give me grapefruit juice from sinzy. From $2 can at vintage. Smells like slightly rotting grapefruit. Cloudy with lots of sediment. Taste is more tart than sweet and I like that. Lots of sour friction here against the palate. Yes, quite stimulating. When I saw it was graperfruti, I wasn't sure but it is mildly tart without any hop bitterness what so ever, thanks. Yes, decent brew and I thought it wasn't going to be as quite as exciting as it was.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/20/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of toast, biscuit, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of grapefruit juice/zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with light notes of toast, biscuit, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, zesty bitterness, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, orange, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light toast/biscuit/pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of grapefruit juice/zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitter/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no pucker/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/tang/tartness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy/zesty, and lightly saline balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited gose! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of grapefruit juice/zest, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Amazing balance of super juicy/vibrant grapefruit/zest and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing spot on style example as expected of the brewery. Have loved all of their sours so far.
