Our Side Project Collaboration is called Leaner. A leaner is when a peach is so juicy you have to lean forward or it spills on you. 100% Oak Fermented Saison fermented with both Casey and Side Project’s cultures. Aged with over 3 pounds per gallon Flamecrest Colorado Peaches. The Saison we both brewed was a higher gravity version of our house Saison recipe. So this beer is basically a higher gravity version of Casey Family Preserves but with Side Project’s cultures. Noticeably more acidic. A great showing of both our cultures.

Bottle, thanks LeninCat! Light hazy golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of peaches, wood, apple skin, lemon peel and grain. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of apricot, peach, wood and lemon. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice, fruity taste. Pete Pete Pete!

Bottle thanks to adnielsen. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is funky, cheese, lemon zest, oak. Thin mouth, funk, peach, lemon, light oak, tart finish, very nice.

Bottle at RBWG. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a thin wheat head. Tons of peach juice, pear, oak, vanilla, and a bit of cheese. Puckering juicy flavor with some tannins and peach pits. Really really good. Quite complex and juicy. The closest to fuzzy I’ve had.
