16 ounce prowler into pint glass, filled on 7/21/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy orange juice, lemon, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of oranges, fruity yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy orange juice, lemon, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy, zesty, spicy bitterness; and fruit/wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy orange juice, lemon, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of oranges, fruity yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/zesty/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 5.6%. Overall this is an outstanding fruit wheat. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of oranges, fruity yeast, pale/wheat malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the lightly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; amazingly soft feel for the style. Fantastic huge vibrant orange juice presence, with balanced American wheat yeast and a nice sized pale/wheat malt backbone. Solid earthy hops. Lightly sweet with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. My glass went down super quick, amazing summer beer!
