Romans are yeast, wheat and a bit of skunk. Flavors are similar to nose and lightly sweet tart. Drinkable and nothing more.

Hazy, pale pineapple-orange body, thin off-white head/ring. Aroma a classic blend of wet grass, orange, and clove. Body sharply carbonated with lots of dough and hints of banana and clove. Solid.

Bottle from Holiday Market. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Pear, kaffir lime leaf, orange zest and light banana esters on the nose. Crisp and clean with nice yeasty esters. More banana-like esters, strong pear with light mineral and clove notes. Smooth, but crisp and clean with a dry finish. Quite nice.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of light fruits, apple and straw with a light grassiness. Flavor has yeasty straw and light fruits with some earthy grass and flora underlying.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, orange peel, coriander, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, orange peel, coriander, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast/coriander spiciness; and herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Slight wheat tang/tartness. Lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, coriander, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and no astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an awesome witbier. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of classic Witbier yeast complexity, spices, pale/wheat malts, and noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. a really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected of the brewery.
