backlog. Pours a reddish color with a small head. Raspberry dominates the aroma and flavor. There's some nice tartness and it's a bit herbal. Fairly good overall.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/23/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber, light reddish color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, cucumber, mint, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, lemon verbena, cucumbers, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, cucumber, mint, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and herbal/grassy bitter/spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour raspberries, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, cucumber, mint, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, peppercorn, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, lemon verbena, cucumbers, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and bitter/spiciness balance; with minimal puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic/saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Gose. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, lemon verbena, cucumbers, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the moderately acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Great balance between juicy/vibrant raspberries, lemon verbena, cucumbers, salt, and lacto complexity; with a nice clean pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
