Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours a hazy bright light yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has sour mango and with tart guava with a light funk underlying. Flavor has sour mango and guava with a hint of funk underlying.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 8/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, mango, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, berries, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leather, musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, mango, pink guava, oak, and moderate pils/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy pink guava, mango, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, berries, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leather, musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, wine tang, and yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy pink guava, mango, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, berries, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, peppercorn, leather, musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, mango, pink guava, oak, and moderate pils/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness, tangy fruit, and yeast/oak spiciness balance; with minimal puckering sourness after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness, tangy fruit, wine tang, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited sour/wild ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, mango, pink guava, oak, and moderate pils/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the low ABV. Amazingly well rounded barnyard Brett/Bacteria complexity; balanced juicy fruits, and oak foeders; with a nice solid pils/raw wheat malt backbone against acidity. Zero residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazingly spot on gueuze-like style example.
