Coconut + pineapple sour brewed with loads of freshly toasted coconut and pineapple. Fruit-smoothie-esque for sure! Creamy, very lightly hopped. Excellent fruit character, bro

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy, fairly tart/tangy pineapples, toasted coconut, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pineapple, toasted coconut, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy, fairly tart/tangy pineapples, toasted coconut, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Mild fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of fairly tart/tangy pineapples, toasted coconut, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, toasted coconut, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a solid malt/lactose/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bread, and lightly acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent fruited milkshake sour. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of pineapple, toasted coconut, fruity/fairly acidic yeast, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; insanely smooth and easy to drink with the mildly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Amazingly soft, and mildly lactic feel. Awesome balance of juicy/fairly jammy fruits, Lacto complexity, lactose, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
