Medium, cloudy orange-brown body, thick, puffy off-white to cream head. Muddled nose, bready with fermented fruits. Dense, muddled flavor profile, some tropical fruits, also vegetal/oniony, with nothing in particular standing out except its relative booziness. One of those beers that would probably be quite good with a few minor tweaks but just doesn't quite work as is.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick creamy/foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Amazing appearance. Aromas of red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Slight lingering resins/rinds through the glass. Mild increasing warmth of 7.2% through the glass. Overall this is a delicious NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish, great soft feel. Feels like Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus. Very juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example. Felt a bit old, but still delicious.
