Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy pink guava, strawberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pink guava, strawberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak, moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy pink guava, strawberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of pink guava, strawberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak, moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tartness, and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy, and lightly tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited Berliner weisse! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of pink guava, strawberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, oak, moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; extremely smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish, not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Fantastic balance of juicy guava/strawberries and Brett/Lacto complexity; with nice oak presence and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.
