Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Maple/strawberry aroma. Full bodied! Flavor is very maple, very like maple syrup on carbohydrate material. Strawberry is detectable, but it helps to know to look for it. Not dry. Not bitter. Somewhere in between. Not hoppy either. Kudos to brewers who matched words to flavor - or vice versa. Worth drinking.

10/24/18. Mad Cinnamon Maple. Strawberry is somewhere in there in the back as some kinda messy old fruit fermented fruit lactose kinda notes.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/24/2018. Pours very hazy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, cinnamon, maple syrup, brown sugar, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, maple syrup, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, light cinnamon/pepper/pine, maple syrup, brown sugar, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, light cinnamon/pepper/pine, maple syrup, brown sugar, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, maple syrup, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited NEIPA. All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, strawberries, maple syrup, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/tart/drying finish. Great soft feel. Perfect balance of juicy Citra hops, strawberries, maple syrup, and oats/malts; with mild cinnamon presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing experimental style example. They really nailed it. Tastes exactly like fruited french toast as an NEIPA.
