Turn the page and begin the next chapter. Time and progress stop for no one. Aggressively hopped with Warrior, Simcoe, & Citra hops, including a double dose of Simcoe and Citra dry hops, this DIPA has a soft mouthfeel thanks to a healthy dose of wheat and lactose sugar.

Pour is a chill haze golden with a large white head. Aroma is a big pine resin and grapefruit. Just like a big dank old school IPA. Flavor is more of the newer hazy IPA's. Mango, pear, tangerine and some cantaloupe. This was very flavorful. No alcohol is felt and the beer just clings to the side of the glass. This was really flavorful and the best of both IPA worlds.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours fairly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, mint, pine, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, mint, pine, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, mint, pine, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9.5%. Overall this is an awesome milkshake DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV; with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra/Simcoe profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; great lactose and pale/wheat malt backbone. Not overly sweet from lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made style example. More of a hazy than NE style, as with others I've had from them. Still really impressive.
