Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear straw gold with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a great grass and straw combination with a hint of grain underlying. Flavor has a great grass note with straw and grains supporting.

12 ounce can into lager glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a small fairly dense and fluffy white head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimally spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of big ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an excellent US hopped German pilsner! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy/piney hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the moderately bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Amazingly vibrant, dank, and earthy Centennial hop showcase; with a clean pils malt backbone, and no residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.
