Pinkish pour from bottle. Most berries. So e acidity and lemons and pepper.

12oz bottle. I know I rated this on tap, but it could be years before that backlog hits so here we go again. Kind of an old school fruit/wheat beer. Raspberry is unimpressive, faded extract. 6.2% ABV is a little bit high for a Wit, but still has a medium body, fairly drinkable. A little bit boring, but decent enough for the style.

Bottle: Hazy medium yellow with a frithy white head. Wheat, raspberry aroma. Taste is mildly sweet, raspberry, strong wheat malt, yeast/biscuit, coriander. Very malty.....feels like a very good Wit base with a subtle raspberry touch.....not too obtrusive or overdone...Great body......Really nice.

Bottle from a branch of Total wine in Sterling, Virginia. Deep amber and hazy in colour with a pinkish edge, and moderate carbonation. White bready malts, a yeasty edge, hint of spice, leafy hops and a subtle raspberry edge that kicked in towards the finish. Enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before 11/18/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/slight pink color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, raspberries, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal/floral/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange peel, pear, red apple, coriander, chamomile, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, raspberries, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.2%. Overall this is a delicious fruited witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, raspberries, spices, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/tart/spicy finish. Perfectly balanced wit yeast, raspberries, spices, and pale/wheat malts. I still prefer the base beer; but this is still a very enjoyable offering, and spot on base style example as expected.

Sampled from a 12 oz bottle this beer poured a murky peach-tan color with a large creamy peach-white head. The aroma was sweet raspberries, musty and yeasty. The flavor was musty with white pepper, coriander and raspberry syrup. Medium length finish. Medium body.
