12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours fairly hazy pinkish orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/sour cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red/white wine, hay, straw, floral, grass, honey, wheat, and biscuit dough; with light pepper, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, hibiscus, honey, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red/white wine, hay, straw, floral, grass, honey, wheat, and biscuit dough; with light pepper, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness; light hibiscus tang, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, red/white wine, hay, straw, floral, grass, honey, wheat, biscuit dough, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, hibiscus, honey, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness and tangy hibiscus balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and tangy hibiscus. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly acidic, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 8.5% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent spiced sour! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, hibiscus, honey, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Not overly lactic. Really awesome balance of hibiscus and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great honey and pale/wheat malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Feels pretty jammy too, even though there is no fruit at all! A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

This beer is a clear reddish-orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, wheat and malt. Medium body with flavors of hibiscus, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is fruity and mildly tart with a hibiscus aftertaste. Decent overall.
