Pours a cloudy dark golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a dank citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Thanks to drfabulous: pours a hazy sort of copper with a white head. Aroma is earthy with light pine... aromas that are so very rare in IPAs these days. Taste is lightly sweet, earthy, with minimal bitterness. More than average maltiness giving it something akin to ESB flavors. Interesting. Can't say it is a favourite though.

On tap at Brick Store Pub, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings it that wild yeast upfront, piney hops and earthiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy hops, light pine, and biscuity malt. Earthy and piney. Nice stuff.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours moderately hazy golden orange/amber color with small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Great soft feel. Balanced juicy C hops and fruity yeast; great wheat/oat/malt balance, with mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable, unique, and well made experimental style example. Nice blend of both coasts of IPA styles.
