12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/15/2018. Pours lightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, pear, red apple, orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, red apple, orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and peppery yeast/coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, red apple, orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is an excellent witbier! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced Wit yeast, spices, and pale/wheat malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
