Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of spicy, earthy, citrus and grassy hops. The taste delivers similar notes of spicy earthy dankness blended into a mix of bitter and juicy citrus. This is a classic hop profile and 60% of the time; it works every time!

Tap@Taproom Malmo, Malmo - Orange Amber pour with white head and lacing. Sweet furity and malty with some tangerine and grapefruit notes coming in, light peachy, sweet malty backbone, medium body, hoppy bitter finish. Decent old skool ipa.

Can pour into shaker pint glass from Bert's Better Beers. Appearance is lightly hazy, pale orange with yellow-greenish tinge, light sparkle, finger width frothy white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is cereal, lemon and orange citrus. Taste is sweet peach, citrus, passionfruit with late tart and bitter. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp, mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, aroma and flavor could be bolder and palate is a little thin and overcarbonated. Decent but slight faults from excellent.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 5/17/2018. Pours slightly hazy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, toasted biscuit, light nutty/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light nutty/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light nutty/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky/resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.6%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never overly aggressive. Galaxy, Citra, and Azacca hops. Really great showcase of juicy, vibrant, and dank balanced hop complexity; nice bready Munich malt backbone, with mild lingering sweetness. A very enjoyable offering.

12 ounce can. I needed something good after all those Sprechers, especially that last one! Hazy amber, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, earth, onion, grapefruit, pale malt. Taste is resin, pine, dank, dry citrus, pale malt. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is some citrus and white grape hop with a little honey malt. Flavor is a very light citrus fruit hops with some chewy malt and a whole lot of bitterness. While there is nothing technically wrong with this beer there are about a 100 other IPA's you would probably choose over this one. Very light all around except for that bitterness.
