On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and coconut with light roast and some chocolate supporting. Flavor combines chocolate and coconut supported by roasted malts and dark grains.

16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 2/20/2018. Pours slightly hazy dark reddish brown color with a 1 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and brown bread; with light notes of coffee, dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, cocoa, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and brown bread; with light notes of coffee, dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal hop and roasted bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of toasted coconut, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, light coffee/dark fruit, herbal, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, cocoa, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a nice roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, and bready mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slightly sticky, chalky, and drying. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is an outstanding flavored English porter! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, cocoa, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very rich with an impressive body/mouthfeel for the ABV. Balanced English malt complexity, coconut, and cocoa nib flavors; with mild fruity yeast and earthy hop balance against sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
