A Juicy IPA for nugs, chillin, and grindage. The Mosaic and Citra dry hop makes you feel like you’re in Encino, sneaking slushee pulls right off the machine.

Can. Hazy wit-like light yellow-orange body, medium to thick puffy off-white head. Nose citrus and citrus peel, mostly orange. Sharp, slightly tart body with orange and wet grass, vegetal in the finish, with light bitterness. Light and crisp summer refresher.

Can. Pours a clear very pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of citrus and grass with a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has earthy citrus with a bit of sweet grain and citrus rind backing.

12 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent local release. Pours fairly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshingly easy to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Mosaic and Citra hops. Awesome balance of juicy and dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A really enjoyable offering; and spot on style example, despite no significant haze.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of citrus, bright apples, pear and assertive herbal and grassy hops - nice throughout with a decidedly grassy and tropical fruit flavoured hop bite. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal flavours with a dose of pine, grain, tropical fruits, citrus and balanced nicely with a good deal of malt and some pleasant sugars, mainly all from the fruits. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop flavours without much bitterness, no real pungency and more of a sweet tropical fruit flavour than anything else near the end. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer that shows like a lighter APA, but has some good hop qualities and complexities, just no real bitterness from hops, which is a surprising fact, but a good one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased by my Dad at Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 13-June-2017 for US$2,09 sampled at home in Washington on 28-August-2017 - Thanks Dad!

Growler poured to pint. Medium gold. Medium head. Fresh, citrusy nose. Excellent, balanced palate with slightly sweet citrus and hops. Terrific bitter finish! Definitely one to buy again.
