This beer is a clear orange color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 3/2/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep orange amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon, grapefruit, orange peel, light pepper/pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.3%. Overall this is an excellent IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very unique, tastes like a cross between English and American styles. Nice blend of juicy and fairly dank hop complexity; sizable malty backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy feeling with some nice lingering oily dryness. A very enjoyable offering.
