Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a delicious session IPA. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Balanced Topaz/Mt. Hood hops with Pils/white wheat malt. Simple, but works really well. Clean and well restrained yeast esters. A very enjoyable offering.
