12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/28/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, lemon, pear, apple, white grape, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big cracker, white bread dough, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, lemon, pear, apple, white grape, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, honey, lemon, pear, apple, white grape, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a delicious Australian pale ale. All around nice robustness of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very clean and flavorful bready malt character; with light-moderate balancing earthy hop and fruity yeast complexity in the background. A very enjoyable offering and spot on style example.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the "Collaboration Celebration! Sports & Jorts & More" event on 08/04/2017. Clear pale orange color with a medium thick white head that evaporates gradually to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and fruit. Medium highly effervescent body with flavors of champagne yeast, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is white grape and malt. Decent overall.

Well. I grabbed this can because it was cheap and I thought it would taste like a can of miller high life; after all, the label has many similarities and its said to be sparkling! I just wanted a gentle refreshing brew after I cut my grass with the riding lawn mower, hah. Pour is pale enough, but its cloudy. Smell is a tad citrus. No hint of the alky content. Looks like a mild blonde; anyway. But, the first taste tells you it wants to give ya a knudge in the palate with some bitter buzzshit. Sparkling? Maybe, at least it has some medium co2 to carry it thru. Hey, no way I would have ever thought this was over 6% until I started to get mello, hehehehehhheh. Now I see it is a golden ale? At 7% Golden or blonde? Strongest blonde I’ve done in a while. WTF? How could this possibly be in the same style as these tremendous local brews? Indigo Imp Blonde Bombshell, Rusty Rail Blue Collar, North Country Bucco Blonde, Paladin Sir Kenneth, Numbers The 330 Blonde Ale or even Beaver Risque Blonde. Get lost! ! ! They know how to make beers around Beaver County! This brew? It’s a blonde. Local or not, real or not, this north high life, she continually gits in yer face. How annoying.
