The beer lover’s consummate coffee beer, a perfect marriage of rich coffee and creamy porter. Brewed with BIGGBY® COFFEE’s Papua New Guinea blend, a roast created especially for this collaboration. Emotes rich notes of dark chocolate, fruit, and tons of refreshingly intense coffee flavor. Oat malt lends a powerfully silky body and hints of nuttiness. Reminiscent of a refreshing cold-brew, but with a pleasant buzz. Pairs perfectly with your choice of smoking jacket, bathrobe or favorite slippers. Because when the day drags on and the night’s too long, it’s time to pickup a Nightcap!

Bottle from Bierwinkel Hop, Amersfoort. Aroma is strong coffee with coffee grounds, beans, roasted malt, cold coffee. The intense coffee doesn't leave a lot of room for anything else. Flavour has a little cold brew coffee sourness and a roasty bitterness. Body is medium. A bit blunt on the amount of coffee used, but I like this.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a black color with a large creamy brown head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was dry and roasty with notes of coffee and vanilla cream. The flavor was very bitter with brewed coffee, cream and undertones that were slightly sour and astringent. Long brewed coffee finish. Medium body. Pretty awful

Had this glass from a tap at Puff n Stuff. Big & black. Smell is odd sweet off fruit & volatile. Nose carries over to the taste. Stout with odd fruity pepper coffee fruit backbone. Unique and weird. Its almost like its tanted with vinegar without the tartness. Yes, odd coffee brew thang that is almost difficult in the end, not one of my favorite coffee brews.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/22/2017. Pours nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big nutty dark roasted coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of smoke, vanilla, cream, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty dark roasted coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted dark/brown bread; with light notes of smoke, vanilla, cream, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, light vanilla/smoke, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance, zero cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and lightly silky/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an excellent coffee porter! All around great dark/roast/bready malt, coffee, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter finish. Nicely rich for the modest ABV. Really great fruity/nutty coffee vibrancy; with perfectly balanced malts. Very well rounded on complexity, never overly roasty or bitter. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
